19 Year old woman sent to Court for Killing her baby

Police in Bahn, Nimba County have charged and sent to court a 19 year old woman whose baby was found dead in a well.

Princess Karr was charged for murder after admitting dropping her baby in a well. Several people were arrested in connection with the death of the five month old baby.

The suspect had earlier attributed the situation to super natural happenings in which she said the baby was taken from her by spirit.

But local journalist quoted people in the area as saying that this is the woman’s second attempt to kill her baby.

She has however asked religious people in the area to join her in prayers and that it was not her intention to throw her kid in the well.
