Capitol Hill, Monrovia – The Liberian Senate has begun the confirmation hearing of Chief Justice-designate Sie-A-Nyene G. Youh.
Chief Justice-designate Sie-A-Nyene G. Youh is currently an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia. She was recently nominated by President George Weah to replace current Chief Justice Francis Korkpor who retires in September.
She is currently being cross-examined by top members of the Senate Judiciary Committee including Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon and Senator Steve Zargo of Lofa County, among others.
