Breaking News: Tragic Motor Accident in Gbarnga Leaves CDC Auxiliary Members’ Dead – Unconfirmed Reports
MONROVIA – Unverified reports circulating on social media say a devastating motor accident in Gbarnga, Bong County has claimed the lives of several people.
Although these reports have not yet been corroborated, sources suggest that the victims were affiliated with an auxiliary faction of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) known as “Girls for Weah.”
According to one post circulating on social media, the victims were en route to Ganta, Nimba County, carrying CDC campaign materials such as stickers and T-shirts in a taxi. Tragically, their vehicle collided with a truck, resulting in three fatalities at the scene. However, there have been accounts indicating that the casualty count may have risen since then.
Writing on Facebook, Aloysius Weah, who claimed to be a health worker at the Phebe Hospital said all six passengers on board the vehicle died and their bodies were taken to the Phebe Hospital. Weah claimed the driver suffered from an Epileptic seizure.
The CDC is yet to issue a statement on the alleged incident.
