Breaking! President Weah vows to spare no energy in Seeking Liberians interests on reelection quest
President George Manneh Weah has said he will spare no energy in ensuring the interest of every Liberian is met as seeks reelection.
President Weah made the affirmation in a brief remark at a ceremony marking the commemoration of Liberia’s 176th Independence anniversary.
“As I seek to be returned for a second mandate, I am focused on sparing no energy in ensuring that the interest of Liberians is met and their will is done,” he said.
Speaking at the event held at Centennial Pavilion, the Liberian leader said this years’ theme “Giving our People Hope for a violence free, fair and inclusive elections” reminds all Liberians of their national obligation.
He affirmed his admonition’s commitment to living up to the Farmington Declaration in ensuring a peaceful, free and transparent election come October and called on the signatories to the declaration to do the same.
Meanwhile, at the ceremony, President Weah awarded the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the President The Gambia Adama Barrow Liberia’s highest civilian honors.
