Catholic Relief Services Initiates Peacebuilding Training in Preparation for October Polls, Trains 50 in Margibi

KAKATA, Margibi County – Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has launched its peacebuilding efforts in Liberia in anticipation of the country’s pivotal presidential and legislative elections by conducting a three-day peacebuilding training in Kakata.
The training brought together a diverse group of participants from the five Electoral Districts of Margibi County, including first-time voters, members of the media, and local authorities. CRS facilitators encouraged these first-time voters and respected citizens of Margibi to actively promote and uphold peace, while also emphasizing the crucial role of the media in disseminating peace messages.
During the workshop, participants were equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to promote and maintain peace as responsible citizens.
