Cllr Gongloe Announces Nationwide Protest against Corrupt this Wednesday
MONROVIA-Just a day after a huge turnout of partisans of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) in a ‘Weah thank you rally’, which many believe was a pay-for crowd the standard bearer of the opposition Liberian People’s Party, (LPP), Cllr. Tiawan Saye Gongloe has announced a nationwide protest against corruption in the country.
The protest, “Broom Parade” is expected this Wednesday, July 19, 2023. The main gathering point remains unclear.
The renowned human rights lawyer, Cllr Gongloe made the revelation in a press conference in Monrovia on Monday, July 17, 2023.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, this press conference is to call upon the Liberian people to turn out on July 19, 2023, to take part in a major anti-corruption campaign under the theme: Anti-Corruption Campaign or (ACC),” said Cllr. Gongloe.
