CPP Gets Endorsement from Disenchanted County Coordinators of Sen. Lawrance’s Fraction
SINKOR, Monrovia- Several disenchanted County Coordinators of Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence Fraction of Liberty Party (LP) Montserrado Chapter have pledged their support to the Presidential bid of Mr. Alexzander Cummings and Cllr Charlyne M. Brumskine of the Colliberatining Political Parties (CPP).
The coordinators through its spokesperson, Andrews Brumskine named Sen Lawrence’s inability to settle the crisis in the party but instead, she pledge support to the Presidential bid of Amb Joseph Boakai without consultation with the county coordinators of the party as one major reason behind their support.
“the decission taken to endorse the presidential bid of Amb. Joseph Boakai without considering our views and oponion is disrespectful and disingenuous to our effort and time as coordinators of Montserrado County,” Andrew Brumskine said.
The coordinators see this as “disrespect” despite their continued support of the Party.
Accepting their position, the Vice Running mate to Mr. Alexzander Cummings, Charlyne M. Brumskine lauded the coordinators for taking the bold step to reunite with the Liberty party.
Cllr. Charleslyn Brunskin also used the occasion to call on every supporter of the institution to continue to be loyal to the party as it strives to change the country.
Charlyne told the returnees that she was exceedingly happy for their decision to come back to the party after leaving for various reasons, saying she believed that truly, the spirit of the former political leader lives on and continues to inspire all members of LP to remain steadfast and determined in the course of living by the ideals for which LP was created.
“I am happy for those of you who have decided to return home to the Liberty party. I said it last week, there is this spirit, the spirit of Cllr. Brumskine, I believe is still living and that the spirit rests heavily on you that came back.
“Come back and let us rebuild the party according to the dream of Cllr. Brumskine. It is time that we fight for the party, to fight for the country to save it from going down the drain.
