Darius McGee’s Masterclass Move Bea Mountain Three Points Clear On Top
Bea Mountain defeated Nimba Kwado 1-0 in the continuation of match-day six of the Orange first division league on Wednesday evening at the Antoinette Tubman Sports Stadium in Monrovia to move three points clear of Mighty Barrolle on the fourteen team’s log.
Darius McGee’s lone goal in the second half was enough to put an end to the Tön Pēæ boy’s unbeaten run in the first division league winning two and getting a draw in three of their last five league matches.
The win recorded Bea Mountain fourteen points from six league games with Nimba Kwado at nine points from the same amount of matches played in the league so far.
Meanwhile, Bea Mountain Coach Robert Lartey’s said the performance from his boys is not a surprise for the club because he was given a piece job to do and he needed to deliver what the team wants adding that it was his dream in winning the league for Bea Mountain.
“I want to win the league with Bea Mountain, this remains my target and with a good start to the new league season nothing is impossible.”
“I learned a lot from Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola and I want to implement what I am learning from him as a great coach, especially in terms of ball possession that’s while you saw us maintaining the ball more than our opponents.”
Coach Robert Lartey’s added.
Bea Mountain FC will be hoping to grab another win when they travel to the North Star Sports Stadium over the weekend to take on Nimba United on match-day seven.
