Delton Kollie Scores County Meet First Ever Hat-Trick

Liberia’s promising playmaker Delton Kollie continues to run the show at Liberia’s biggest and most followed football competition the National County Sports Meet as River Cess County showed supremacy over Grand Cape Mount County.
Kollie who plays his club football for Orange First Division side Cece United Football Club is now the leading goals scorer at this year’s National County Sports Meet with four goals and two assists to his name.
The young Cece United playmaker opened the scoring in the thirty-eight minutes when he sent in a
right-footed strike beating the defense of Grand Cape Mount County and giver River Cess County the lead at the Samuel Kuyon Doe Sports Stadium in Paynesville.
His right-footed strike in the thirty-five minutes separated the two sides in the first half.
The Cece United sensational forward double River Cess County lead in the early second half when Delton Kollie fired in a reflected ball from Grand Cape Mount County goalkeeper following a strike from outside the box.
With two zero leads for River Cess County Delton Kollie provided his first assist in the match and his second in the competition when he assisted his Cece United teammate Jenkins Sieh in the Seventy-five minutes to give River Cess County a comfortable 3-0 lead.
Jenkins Sieh again recorded his name for the second time when he converted a finishing pass from inside the box in eighty-five minutes to give River Cess an easy 4-0 lead.
Heading to the down minutes of play another Cece United forward Gibson Freeman missed from the spot to pull one back for Grand Cape Mount.
Delton Kollie recorded his first-ever County Meet hat-trick and the first at this year’s National County Sports Meet following a deflection in the backfield in the defense of Grand Cape Mount led to Delton Kollie icing it for River Cess County in the ninety-two-minute of play to make the final score 5-0.
