In Lofa, Independent Candidate Concedes Defeat in the midst of troubling provisional results

Reports reaching k-news says an Independent Candidate in the Lofa County Senatorial Bi-Election has conceded defeat ahead of the official pronouncement of results in the county.

Speaking with reporters in Lofa, Momo Cyrus who has been engaged with sporting activities in the county among other things vowed to congratulate and work with the winner of the June 28 Senatorial by-election in moving the county forward.

However, provisional results thus far has seen the independent candidate appearing third – which political pundits think is a good move for it is his first time contesting in the county.
