Meanwhile, ISSA Vice President for Administration, Murvee Gray, is appealing to humanitarian organizations, officials of government, and sports lovers to help them raise a budget of six thousand seven hundred United States dollars to enable them to have successful completion of the championship.
Mr. Gray said ISSA as the only recognized sporting institution by the government of Liberia to conduct sports at the level of the secondary learning institutions across the country is using sports and education to develop young people.
“We need to put our all into this because schools across this country are using sports to unite students”.
“Without support ISSA will not be able to organize such a competition for our school-going kids”.
In the opening match, Margibi County Upper ISSA-League Champions Agape High School defeated the Liberia United Inland High school in the opening game held at the Tusa Field Sports Pitch in Gardnerville.
