Justice Min. Dean Arrests Finance Min. Tweah Following Court’s Order

The Ministry of Justice has arrested Finance and development panning Minister Samuel Tweah.

His arrest follows an order by the Full Bench of the Supreme Court of Liberia to arrest his living body for creating a Constitutional Crisis.

Sources at the temple of Justice told k-news that the minister was arrested at 12:55pm and accompanied by the solicitor general, for contempt deriving from a summon he refused to honor.

He is expected to address salary issues at the court.

According to some workers within the judicial system, they have not been paid for months, despite being affected by the harmonization; and based upon that, had engaged the Chief Justice to express their dissatisfaction
