Liberia Football Association (LFA) announces date for 2021/2022 Awards ceremony
The Liberia Football Association has announced the date for the 2021/2022 LFA Awards ceremony and cash prizes for winners.
Addressing a major press conference on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Liberia Football Association in Monrovia, the chairman of the awards committee Cllr Cole Bangalu said the public votes concerning the nomination process to select their best three nominates per category will get underway on October 3, 2022, and ends on the 10th of October adding that the awards night is set for November 12, 2022, with the venue yet to be announced.
He added that clubs captain, and club coaches in the first and second division leagues, including sports Journalists that are accredited by the Liberia Football Association, can pick up their nomination forms at the LFA headquarters begging September 28, and such forms should be returned before October.
According to Cllr Cole Bangalu, this year’s awards ceremony will consist of twenty-three different awards will be given in twenty-three categories, adding that the public will be part of the nominations process for this year’s ceremony.
