LNP Regional Commander Died in Traumatic Fire Incident

Reports reaching K-NEWS say the Regional Police Commander for Sinoe and Grand Gedeh Counties, Mr Anthony Weah has lost his life in a traumatic fire incident.

The exact cause of the fire has not been establish.

The incident occurred early Wednesday morning, 19 July after four self-contained apartments got engulfed by fire in Zwedru City, Grand Gedeh county

Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick plumes of smoke rising from the four apartments which were rapidly consumed by the fierce flames. 

Community dwellers rushed to the scene but were unable to rescue the Police Commander, lest to prevent the destruction of the buildings.
