Lofa vs River Gee 2022-23 National County Sports Meet Match Day Two Preview, Fixtures, and Venus

The National County Sports Meet remains Liberia’s biggest and most follows sports competition it’s managed and controlled by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Following an agreement, in November the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that ArcelorMittal Liberia has replaced Orange Liberia as the new Prime Sponsor of Liberiaโs biggest sporting event, the National County Sports Meet.
Fifteen Counties from across Liberia are participating in the 2022/2023 edition under the theme:

Grand Gedeh County will be hoping to get their first win in Group A when they welcome Group A leader River Cess County.
The boys from Zedrew City were forced to a one-all draw at the Doris Williams Sports Stadium by Grand Cape Mount County on Match-Day one.
Meanwhile, River Cess County will be eager to continue its winning run on match day two, they defeated host Grand Bassa County 1-0 at the Doris Williams Sports Stadium over the weekend.

Grand Cape Mount County will welcome host Grand Bassa County in the final match of the day.
A win for the Kpasajama Boys will place them in a comfortable position of getting a qualification to the knockout stage of the competition.
Grand Cape Mount County came from a goal down on Sunday to force Grand Gedeh to a dramatic 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, host Grand Bassa County who suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat to neighboring River Cess County on Saturday will be in high paraphernalia to put smiles on the faces of supporters in Buchanan.
A defeat for Grand Bassa on Wednesday will be the end of the road for the Bassa Boys.

Last edition finalist and 2004 champions Gbarpolu County will be hoping to continue their fine start to this year’s National County Sports Meet when they take on their longtime rival Margibi County.
Gbarpolu County on Sunday collected a 2-0 victory over Sinoe County at the David Kuyon Sports Stadium in Gbarnga City, Bong County.
The 2011/2012 Champions Margibi County will be up and running as they go in search of their first win over Gbarpolu County on Wednesday afternoon.
Margibi County has failed to get a win over Gbarpolu County in their last two meetings.

Following their disappointing start on Sunday Sinoe County will be hoping to collect a win over host Bong County.
The Greenville Boys’ loss to Gbarpolu County 2-0 made life difficult for themselves in Group B.
Host and 2008 champions Bong County who was held to a goalless draw by Margibi County on Sunday will be searching for their first knockout stage qualification in five years.

2009 champions Bomi County will be set and ready to send home the defending Champions Nimba County on Wednesday and a win for Bomi County over Nimba County will automatically get their ticket to the quarterfinals in January.
Five-time winners and defending champions Nimba County will be hoping to bounce back from their shocking defeat to Lofa on Sunday but a defeat for the GB boys will be the end of the road for the defending champions.
