LPRC Oilers 1-2 Jubilee, Koon Scored To Give Jubilee Three Points

LPRC Oilers push to haul back seven place Heaven Eleven was hit by a dismal 1-2 defeat at home to Jubilee FC on Tuesday afternoon at the famous Tusa field in Gardnersville.

The visitors were hanging on admirably at the back and increasingly posing a threat at the other end with a brilliant and outstanding performance from star man Ezekiel Koon scoring a goal to help Jubilee grabbed another three points on match day fifteen in the Orange First Division League.

LPRC Oilers took an earlier-minute lead through George Dauda in the ninth minute of the match to put themselves ahead of the Church boys at the Tusa field.

Maintaining their lead throughout the first half there was more pressure from the attacks of Jubilee getting three corner kicks in the space of five minutes but was not enough for the church boys to get an equalizer in the first half.

There were games within the game itself and this epic battle was now where Jubilee FC wanted it and they got it in when Ezekiel Koon register his name on the score sheet with a beautiful finish from inside the eighteen-yard box to level things for the visitors.

An own goal in the sixty minutes from a corner kicks put the Church boys ahead of the Oil boys.

The win recorded Jubilee FC’s second in three games and first in 2023, their first match in 2023 ended in a goalless draw away to Watanga FC.

Jubilee moved two points clear of the relegation zone with thirteen points from fifteen league games
