LRA Dismisses Fake Staff Recruitment Link Trending On Social Media

Paynesville- The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has condemned and disassociated itself from a link circulating on social media indicating that it is hiring thousands of revenue and tax officers including security and IT professionals.

This information is totally false, distasteful, and an attempt to distract the Liberians from their tax-paying obligations.

The LRA is urging the public not to click on such links as it is a phishing attempt intended to steal your personal information and identity.

Meanwhile, the LRA wishes to clarify that there are no positions at the LRA with the titles, Revenue or Tax Officers, Security Officers, or IT Audit Supervisors. The LRA advises the public to follow its website (www.lra.gov.lr)  and  VERY ACTIVE social media pages for authentic information on vacancies, procurement notices, and announcements, among other tax information.
