Matthew Joe and Moreliai Boakai gave Liberia 2-1 win over Spain

Liberia came from a goal down to beat Spain 2-1 inthe 2022 Amputees World Cup taking place in Turkey.
Mathew Joe got the equalizer in the early minutes of the second half followed by Moreliai Boakai winner few minutes later.
The win put Liberia among the twenty best amputee’s football nations across the world.
Despite the Amputees Lone star team failure to book the regular knockout stage, they are on the right path of setting another history for the country.
The team earlier bowed 4-1 to Haiti and 5-0 to hosts Turkey, but secured a comfortable win over France during the zonal stages of the competition.
Coach Victor Benson boys might finish the tournament as the best 17th nation if they can produce another wins.
