President Weah Dedicates TVET School In Cape Mount, County Extols Bea Mountain

KINJOR – Liberian President George Manneh Weah has officially dedicated the Daniel F. Tolbert Academy and Vocational Institute. The TVET School is located in Kinjor Town, Darblo Clan, Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County, Western Liberia.
The TVET School was constructed by Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) in fulfillment of the Company’s obligation under the Resettlement Action Plan and the Mineral Development Agreement. The Daniel F. Tolbert Academy and Vocational Institute which will fully be run and managed by the Government of Liberia with support from BMMC will begin normal academy activities this year and will run from 10th to 12th Grades with three initial TVET programs to include Agriculture, Catering, and Information Technology IT.
Speaking Monday, 28th August 2023 when he dedicated the Daniel F. Tolbert Academy and Vocational Institute in Kinjor, Gola Konneh District, President Weah said he was impressed with the level of work done by BMMC over the years, thereby living up to its social corporate responsibilities.
Among other things, President Weah congratulated Bea Mountain for buttressing the CDC Government’s effort in the areas of job creation, road rehabilitation, schools, clinics, and microloans among others.
The Liberian Leader made specific reference to the rehabilitation of the Kinjor to Daniel’s Town Road, and the construction of a TEVET School in Kinjor.

President Weah has also promised that his Government will continue to work with BMMC in the interest of the Liberian people.
