Public Works Minister Corker-Collins Gives 48-Hour Ultimatum To Rep. Yekeh Kolubah To Retract Denigrating Comments Against Her
Monrovia – Acting Public Works Minister, Ruth Coker-Collins wants Montserrado County District 10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah to retract what she calls his denigrating comments made against her within forty-eight hours or risk a lawsuit action.
It can be recalled, on Tuesday, during the second reconvening of the 5th session of the 54th National Legislature, Representative Kolubah accused Acting Minister Ruth Coker-Collins of being in Extra-marital affairs with the Minister of State Presidential Affairs Nathaniel McGill.
The statement of the Montserrado County District #10 lawmaker made in open plenary led to him being thrown out of session by House Speaker Bhofal Chambers.
Speaking in open Plenary, he asked the movant to accept his request to invite Public Works Minister designate Ruth Coker Collins to plenary for allegedly ordering her team at the Ministry of Public Works to assault him and damage his property.
According to him, Madam Collins had earlier stated that she will only appear before the House unless she is not in an affairs with the Minister of State and Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill. He also called on the Speaker to put an end to his recklessness and do the right things to save the face of the House subjecting the House to an audit.
