Rep. Kolubah accused incumbent Senator Saah Joseph of colluding with President George Weah and cronies in diverting public resources for personal use.

Representative Yekeh Y. Kolubah (District #10, Montserrado County) Rep. Yekeh Y. Kolubah says he is considering to run for a senatorial seat in Montserrado County in Liberia’s impending Presidential and Legislative Elections.

Rep. Kolubah accused incumbent Senator Saah Joseph of colluding with President George Weah and cronies in diverting public resources for personal use.

Senator Joseph is lauded for undertaking several development initiatives in Montserrado County. He consistently imports huge supply of medical drugs and equipment and distribute freely to public health centers including the Jon F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, the country’s largest referral health center.

He donated several buses to improve public transportation in Montserrado County and beyond.

Speaking during a press conference in the district recently, Rep. Kolubah stated that Senator Joseph’s tenure has been marred by inactions and indifference toward the needs of Montserrado County, accusing the senator of being complicit in a series of government fund embezzlement.

 He said owing to this, Senator Joseph has been involved with superficial development projects.

Rep. Kolubah has vowed to reveal more details in the coming weeks to substantiate his claims.

He called on the citizens of Montserrado County to scrutinize the actions and track record of their representatives, emphasizing the importance of electing individuals who prioritize the welfare of the people and are committed to good governance.

Meanwhile, the controversial lawmaker has threatened to ‘go dirty’ on Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor if keeps meddling in Montserrado District 10 politics.

According to him, the Vice president is financially supporting former Commerce Inspector Josephine Davis who is now an aspirant in District 10.

He said while it is the VP’s right to support any candidate, he will not hesitate to return fire for fire.

“I’m calling on our mother, chief Jewel Howard Taylor, District 10 politics don’t get involve with it. I believe in dirty politics.  You sit down in your house with Josephine Davis and decide to give her money to campaign against me. That’s your right, but if u get involved with dirty politics I will drag you in the mod with no regret.”
