Shaita Angels Defeat United Girls 5-0, Erica Parson Scores Hat Trick, Tops League Table

The Liberia Football Association Orange Lower Women’s league 2022/2023 season continued with a dramatic win for highly rated Shiata Angels on match day seven, at the famous open-air George Weah Technical Center in Careysburg City, Montserrado County.

The Angles of Careysburg continue their fine start to the new league season recording five wins and two draws.

A goal each from Informa Ifeoma and Julia Calyon plus a hat-trick from star player Erica Parson was enough to give the queens of Careysburg their fifth win, helping the club secure the first slot on the lower league table with seventeen points from seven league games, one point above second place Ravia Angels.

The referee ended the match in the 85th minute of play after United Girls were brought down to six players due to injuries and were unable to make any substitutions.

Shaita Angels will travel to Gardnersville over the weekend to take on fourth-place Khadijah United at the Tusa Field in a do-or-die encounter.
