Sun Hola Sparks Mix Reactions Amongst Liberians

LIBERIA- It was a startling moment for many Liberians at about 2:00 PM when a strange weather phenomenon took the country by surprise prompting several mixed reactions among Liberians.

Know as Sun Hola, many people perceive that the end time is approaching, a time for Liberia to transform, and good fortune is coming among many others. Yes, it may be true as several definitions continue to be unearthed by researchers.

But what is Sun Hola/ what does it mean?

As per research, the physical meaning, when you see a halo around the sun, it is an indicator that there is moisture high in the atmosphere. If the halo is followed by high, thin, wispy cirrus clouds, then there is a storm system approaching you. It’s typically 24 to 48 hours away.

Naturally, Solar/Sun Halo is actually a relatively common scientific and meteorological weather phenomenon caused by the presence of ice crystals floating in cirrus or cirrostratus clouds located high in the upper troposphere.

However, per the traditional African community, seeing a halo around the moon or sun means that someone important has either been born or died.

And for the Spiritual meaning, the ring emphasizes the triumph of good over evil. Since the beginning of time, the forces of light have been at war with the forces of darkness. A ring around the sun urges you to keep pushing harder. This symbol cautions you against giving up in the face of hardship.

It also means positive change and transformation, signs of good fortune, signs of abundance and prosperity, signs of divine intervention, signs that things will be okay, and signs of spiritual awakening.
