Cece United Suspends Player Delton Kollie

The management of Cece United has with immediate effect suspended for one month (on the job without salary), player 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 for breach of contract and Club’s Code of Conduct.

According to the club, Delton Kollie violated Article 3(sec 4) of his contract which states, “That THE PLAYER shall not in any form or manner perform, carry-out, or play for any other club or enter into any form of negotiation with any other club, while this contract is still valid and standing without the written knowledge and consent of the club; Also, the player shall not play any “commercial” football-
related activity (s) for any other team or organization for whatsoever reason and also for a county (county meet) unless previously approved in writing by the club.

The rules and regulations added that any violation will result in a suspension with a deduction in salary for that month or immediate contract termination.”

It can be recalled on November 13, of this year player Delton Kollie featured for River Cess County at the David Kuyon Stadium in Bong County, where he captained the River Cess County team against Bong County in a friendly match without any formal notification to the club.

Per the report, the club sees this latest action as unprofessional on the part of Kollie.

The club is at the same time calling on players and staff that before you are allowed to leave club duty, the management of the club will require a written communication from the county authority (ies) requesting your service, and such must be approved by the management.

The release also added that player Delton Kollie will return to Club’s activities early in December of this year.
