‘Not ground for cheering squad’ – Rep. Yekeh Kolubah Demands CDC Supporters Thrown out as President Weah Delivers Final Annual Message

As President Weah delivers his 6th and final state of the nation address of his current administration, Rep. Yekeh Kolubah of Montserrado District #10, has called for staunch partisans of the ruling party dressed in the party’s regalia to be thrown out of the joint chamber.
As per constitutional mandate, President Weah is delivering his final SONA to the joint session of the Legislature.
The event, currently taking place at the William R. Tolbert Joint Chamber, is being attended by the members of the 54th Liberian Legislature, the Vice President, Justices of the Supreme Court, the cabinet and members of the diplomatic corps.
However, several members of the ruling party dressed in their party regalia are also in attendance and cheering. Rep. Kolubah, a staunch critics of President Weah and his administration said the sacred chamber of the Legislature is not an arena to express partisans’ sentiments and bring in cheering squad.
However, his plead was denied by House Speaker Bhofal Chambers, who is serving as the presiding officer.
