Police Arrests Man 26, for Murdering His Wife for Allege Attempt to leave him for Another Man

Gbenequelleh Town, Bong County– Police in Gbarnge, Bong County have arrested and are investigating a thirty-six-year-old man for allegedly killing his thirty-seven-year-old girlfriend in Gbelequelleh, electoral District two.
According to Police Preliminary findings, defendant Sampson Suah allegedly killed his girlfriend, Rachael Mankpalla for attempting to leave him for another man.
Addressing a press conference Wednesday, Bong County’s Police Commander Fasu V. Sheriff disclosed that the victim’s lifeless body was discovered in a covert along the Gbelequelleh-Gbarnga Highway after she had gone missing for two days.
A fifteen men juror set up to examine the body also established that there was foul play.
According to the jurors’ report, there were bruises seen on the body of the victim something they believed might have led to her untimely demise.
For his part, defendant Sampson Suah voluntarily admitted killing victim Rachael Mankpalla, on grounds that she attempted to break up with him for another man in the Community.
Sampson indicated that before the incident, Rachael and her new boyfriend, on several occasions provoked him, which led him to have committed the act.
He was arrested on April 8, 2023, by the Community Watch Forum in District Two and is currently in police custody awaiting investigation and subsequent Court trial.
The alleged murderer is expected to be charged by Liberia National Police for murder under section 14. 1 of the new panel Law of Liberia and forwarded to the 9th Judiciary Circuit Court by the Crime Services Division of the LNP Bong County Detachment.
