Former Talkshow Host Henry P Costa Writes ✍️

"I have been reliably informed by sources within Washington, D.C., that the reason Liberia made the list of the Trump administration's proposed travel ban is due to the actions of the CDC administration, which wantonly engaged in the sale of Liberian diplomatic passports and Consul General positions to criminals and possibly terrorists from around the world.

This practice of the past administration has raised serious national security concerns in Washington, D.C., leading to Liberia's inclusion on the proposed travel ban list.

However, I am told there is a good chance to avoid this unfortunate outcome. If the current administration acts quickly and within the 60-day period stipulated, assuring the U.S. government that such practices are no longer taking place, Liberia could be removed from the proposed travel ban list.

It’s important to remember that in September 2020, Liberian passport Director Andrew Wonplo was sanctioned by the first Trump administration for his role in selling our diplomatic passports, underscoring the gravity of these actions.

Now is the time for action to protect Liberia’s international standing"
