"Stop Talking, Take Actions’’….Stakeholder’s Call For Action & Collaborative Efforts to Boast Tourism

Monrovia, Liberia: The Ministry of Information, Culture Affairs and Tourism, in collaboration with: Forestry Development Authority, Environmental Protection Agency, with support from the United Nations Development Program ( UNDP) and the United States of America International Development (USAID) has ended a one day Tourism Stakeholder's Dialogue in Monrovia.

The Dialogue was hosted at the Cape Hotel in Mamba Point on Friday, August 2, 2024, bringing together Government officials, Tourism and Environment experts among others.

It was held under the theme" Building a Sustainable and Vibrant Tourism Agenda for Liberia".

During the opening ceremony, there were several speakers generally, majorly with a key focus on a call for action by the government and partners.

EPA Executive Director Dr. Emmanuel Urey Yarkpawolo, Rep. Bernard Benson, Tourism Ambassador Christopher Hayes Onanuga among several other speakers keenly focus their statements on calling for collective efforts, quick actions and support to Liberia's Tourism Sector.

According to them, it is time that citizens and actors stop talking and take actions, aimed at improving the sector.

They pictured how beautiful Liberia is and how effective the country will be if there is more support to Liberia's Culture and Heritage.

Ambassador at Large for Tourism in Liberia, Christopher Hayes Onanuga disclosed that there are so many natural resources, one of which he named as; ( Kelb), could potentially boast the country's economy, Provide jobs and further improve the lives of the citizens.
