Barcelona Enter Race For Bilbao's Star Again

Spain: Barcelona have reopened talks for Athletic Bilbao's Star Nico Williams, who is also on the radar of top European clubs, including English side, Arsenal.
The Spanish giants this time are pushing high for Nico Williams as the player has reportedly laid out his demands.
The winger himself is open to the move, but only if Barcelona pay his €62million release clause according to Sport and guarantee a smooth registration process - which has been an issue in recent years as the club toe the line financially.
Barcelona's Sporting Director, Deco, has held discussions with the player's agent, Felix Tainta, and Williams' preference, if possible, is to remain in his homeland, which gives the Catalans the advantage over Arsenal.
The 22-year-old Spanish winger has enjoyed stellar seasons, helping Spain to win the Euro 2024, and has made a great impact for his side, Athletic Bilbao in securing a Champions League slot in La Liga for the next season.
