Lagos was at a standstill for the highly anticipated wedding of the multiple award-winning singer and performer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his long-term partner Chioma Rowland, which was held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

It has been categorized as one of the biggest events of the year, with many top stars, political dignitaries, influencers, footballers, and many more all from Nigeria attending the event.

The wedding, which was a strictly invitation-only ceremony, was the talk of the town, with speculations about who had attended the event surfacing on social media.

 To the surprise of many, celebrities who had not publicized their invitations were also present at Davido’s wedding.

Ebuka: Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu, a popular TV host in Nigeria, served as the master of ceremonies at the reception of the event.

Seyi Tinub: The only surviving son of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Seyi Tinubu was also present at Davido's wedding.

Ooni of Ife: Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the 51st and current Ooni of Ife and the traditional ruler and monarch of the Yoruba kingdom of Ile-Ife, was also present at the wedding, alongside Oba Elegushi, who also made his presence felt at the event.

Governor Obaseki: The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, was also present at the venue.

Olamide: Rapper Olamide made a special guest appearance at Davido's wedding ceremony in Lagos, which shocked many fans and even Davido himself on the night of the wedding.

Patoranking was also present at the event, along with other artists like Paul and Peter Okoye of P-Square fame, and the star Zlatan, among other great artists in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
