The Zombie Theory and the Hijacking of the Souls of Liberian Youth- Part: #1
Liberia: The curiosity intersection of science and philosophy often leads to thought-provoking insights. Today, we explore the "Zombie Theory" and its implications on the souls of Liberian youth.
Let’s start with a basic test: which form of energy is stored in medicines? If you guessed chemical energy, you’re correct. Medicines are a mixture of chemicals, storing chemical energy to aid in healing and treatment. Reflecting on my childhood in Liberia, I dreaded taking Chloroquine for its bitter taste. It was those tiny white tablets, packed with chemical compounds that left a lasting memory.
The Zombie Theory posits that creatures identical to humans but lacking consciousness are akin to zombies. I believe that the human soul is intrinsically linked to consciousness, just as sunlight is to the sun. Without the sun, there is no sunlight; similarly, without the soul, there is no consciousness. A human without consciousness resembles a zombie, as if their soul has been hijacked or replaced.
Another test: what form of energy does the body naturally produce? The answer is chemical energy. Our bodies convert food into glucose through digestion, which is then used to fuel our cells. This natural production of chemical energy contrasts with the artificial chemical energy in medicines, designed to enhance the body’s natural functions.
