Breaking News: Calm Return to Konia Town in Zorzor District

Monrovia, Liberia: At long last quietude has returned to Konia Town, located in the Zorzor District of Lofa County, following tension that erupted last evening over concerns surrounding the disappearance of a two-year-old boy.

The missing toddler was last seen on Thursday, May 15, 2025, between Boi Town and Konia.

Officers from the Liberia National Police, through the Gbarnga Regional Hub, are now in the area, working along with local leaders to keep things calm as the search for the missing child continues.

Police authorities have encouraged residents to stay peaceful, support one another, and allow the authorities to do their work.
