A young student’s dream turned into tragedy, but with your help, her story doesn’t have to end here.

Monrovia, Liberia: Grace Jackson, a bright young Liberian student, traveled to India with nothing but determination and a dream—to pursue her education and build a better life. But in a cruel twist of fate, that dream was shattered when she was involved in a horrific accident that cost her her left arm.
In the blink of an eye, Grace’s world was turned upside down. What was once a path filled with promise has now become a painful uphill journey marked by trauma, loss, and unimaginable hardship.
The physical pain is immense.
The emotional toll is overwhelming. And the financial burden is crushing. Grace is not just another student she is a daughter, a friend, a fighter. Her courage in the face of despair is nothing short of extraordinary. But courage alone cannot pay for surgeries. It cannot cover rehabilitation. And it cannot restore what has been taken.
As someone who has had the opportunity to study in the United States and the United Kingdom, I understand the silent battles international students face every day far from home, away from family, carrying the weight of expectations. Grace carried that weight with grace and strength. But now, she needs us.
This is a moment for compassion. A time for community. A call to action.
To our friends, our institutions, and the Liberian diaspora—please, stand with Grace. Help her heal. Help her hope again.
Because no one should have to face such darkness alone.
Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement it all makes a difference.
