Breaking News: Liberia Passes Landmark Bill to Establish National Tourism Authority

Capitol Hill, Monrovia Liberia:The Liberian Senate has unanimously concurred with the House of Representatives to pass a crucial bill establishing the National Tourism Authority. This new legislation paves the way for the creation of an independent body, removing the Tourism Department from the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) and granting it full autonomy.
