Finance Minister Reportedly Steps Aside Citing Health Challenges or, could it Be He Was Pressured?

Unconfirmed reports have gathered that Liberia Finance and Development Planning Minister Boima Kamara has resigned his post highlighting health challenges.

Recently, speculation arose in the public that President Joseph Boakai has asked Minister Kamara to resign due to his reported absence and ineffectiveness on the job.

The MFDP minister recently told the legislature that he is battling illness that has affected his work and state of being. Knews legislative reporter confirmed that the physical outlook of the minister could determined that he was actually not well, something that convinced other critical lawmakers to pardon him of the contempt charge earlier placed on him by that agaust body, after failing to appear on several occassions.

Knewsonline report has it that President Joseph Nyuma Boakai frowned on Kamara for his delinquency, something that is causing setbacks for his administration and asked the MFDP minister to resign or be fired.

Though the Executive is yet to make an official announcement, sources have confirmed that the Minister was seen clearing his office on Monday, July 8, something that has raised widespread assumptions among pundits.
