Paynesville, Liberia: The Ministry of Youth and Sports has formally instructed the Liberia Football Association to petition FIFA for an investigation into refereeing decisions during Liberia Wednesday’s 1-0 World Cup qualifier loss to Tunisia, citing two denied penalty appeals.
The ministry’s review of the match footage identified disputed calls in the 29th and 55th minutes, including a foul involving Tunisia’s Montasser Talbi.
