Breaking News: 419 Medical Doctor Slaps with Manslaughter Charge

Monrovia, Liberia: The Liberia National Police has charged Sam Worlobah, a man accused of mimicking a medical doctor with negligence homicide, and subsequently forwarded him to the Paynesville City Magisterial Court.

Worlobah, administrator of the Lofa Medics Clinic located in the Neezoe Community, also a purported medical doctor, treated Samuel P. Kollie, who was diagnosed with appendicitis and hepatitis B for abdominal pain on March 18, 2025.

However, the Liberia Medical and Dental Council has confirmed that Worlobah is not a licensed surgeon and the clinic is not accredited to perform such medical duty (surgeries).

A day after Worlobah carried out the botched surgery on Kollie and administered several injections on March 19, 2025, Kollie died while undergoing medical surveillance at the local clinic.
