Grand Bassa County: Representative Clarence T. Banks, of Electoral District #2, has taken a significant step to improve healthcare services in the county with that donation of essential medical equipment to several health centers across the district.
The donated items, which include delivery beds, birthing chairs, sterilization equipment, and laboratory furniture, are valued at a whopping twelve thousand United States dollars (USD 12,000).
The targeted beneficiaries are the Senyah Clinic, St. John Clinic, Tubmanville Clinic, District 2 Clinic, and the Liberian Government Hospital in Buchanan City.
Representative Banks emphasized that the gesture is aimed at addressing the challenges faced by local hospitals and ensuring that residents receive adequate medical care.
"I cannot stand idly by and watch my constituents struggle to access proper healthcare," he stated during the handover ceremony.
Also speaking during the presentation ceremony, Grand Bassa County Superintendent Karyou Johnson expressed gratitude for the lawmaker’s continued support, noting that the donation aligns with President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s development agenda.
Superintendent Johnson highlighted that such contributions are vital to the progress of the county and reflect Representative Banks’ dedication to fulfilling his campaign promises.
