Liberia Swept Out in FIFA's Women U-17 World Cup Qualifiers by Nigeria's Super Falcons

The journey for the Lone Star Females Under-17 National Team to the 2024 FIFA Women's Under-17 World Cup has come to an end following a back-to-back defeat in the hands of the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
Liberia's Under-17 females were eliminated in the final round qualifiers this Friday (June 14) after bowing down to a 2-0 defeat in the returned leg with Nigeria.
The Red, White, and Blue girls were earlier defeated 4-1 on home soil in the first leg before succumbing to another defeat in the final qualifying round of the FIFA Women's Under-17 World Cup qualifiers.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria led Liberia 1-0 at the first half in the return leg on Friday before returning from the break to double the score line 2-0 to end the full-time in Abuja, Nigeria.
The Nigerians were left in joy after the match that rendered them qualification to the 2024 FIFA Women's Under-17 World Cup with a 6-1 goal aggregate over Liberia from legs.
