Heaven Eleven, FC Fassell, Paynesville FC Pulled Comfortable Wins in LFA 2024-2025 League Kickoff

Monrovia, Liberia: The 2024-2025 Liberia Football Association League Season kicked off on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, with beautiful actions as few clubs grabbed comfortable wins in the opening rounds of the First Division.
Heaven Eleven recorded the biggest win with a commanding 7-0 victory away over Mighty Barrolle at the Doris Williams Sports Pitch in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County to begin the season on a winning note.
The Messengers led Mighty Barrolle 2-0 at the break with a brace from Korvah Kollie before doubling the score line by 5 goals in the second half to end the full time in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
In an-eye catching encounter, FC Fassell delivered a strong performance to whip BEA Mountain 3-0 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia. Josiah Cea's brace and Terry Sackor's lone strikes propelled the Missionaries for a win in the opening of the new league season.
On the other hand, Paynesville FC put up an excellent display to see off Global Pharma 3-0 at the SKD Sports Complex in their opening encounter on Wednesday. The Citizens took advantage of their home fixture to mark a convincing win.
In other results: Watanga 0-1 LISCR FC; Black Man Warrior 2-3 Discoveries S.A; Shaita FC 0-2 Freeport FC and LPRC Oilers 1-1 Invincible Eleven, in the opening round of the LFA First Division this season.
Meanwhile, the LFA Second Division was up with actions at the opening of the new season. Cece United settled down to a 1-1 draw with Junior Professionals at the ATS in Monrovia.
Newly promoted second division side District 17 Academy whipped Nimba Kwado 5-1 at the SKD Practice Pitch. Jubilee FC 4-2 Gardnerville; Wologisi FC 4-0 Philadelphia Lonestar among others results.
As it stands, Heaven Eleven and Wologisi FC sit at the top of the LFA First and Second Division Tables in the opening of the new season with goal advantage after the round 1 matches. The LFA 2024-2025 League Season will continue at the weekend with score matches in the First and Second Divisions.
