A Recent Press Release By US Home Land Security Following The Manhandling of US Senior Senator Alex Padilla By FBI Agents

Los Angeles USA: The Democratic US Senator Alex Padilla was forced to the ground and handcuffed by federal agents at a press conference held by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
Padilla, the son of Mexican immigrants who grew up in the San Fernando Valley, showed up as Noem was engaged in a press conference that ratcheted up rhetoric targeting Democratic leaders of Los Angeles, in particular Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom
The encounter sparked outrage from Democrats, including Governor Gavin Newsom who posted on X: "If they can handcuff a U.S. Senator for asking a question, imagine what they will do to you."
In the 2mins clip posted by the Senator Alex Padilla on Twitter now X Thursday in Los Angeles, he can be seen hurled to the floor by US federal agents who handcuffed him after he continously said: " I have a question" before he could continue, the Senator was flanked by agents in plain clothes and hustled out into the hallway where he was thrown to the floor and handcuffed by FBI agents.
According to a recent Home Land Security release, Senator Padilla theatre and interrupted the press conference without identifying himself or having his senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem
The release further Mr. Padilla was told repeatedly to back away and did not comply with officers repeated commands. "Secret service thought he was an attacker and officers acted appropriately".
The report indicated that Secretary Noem met with Padilla after and held a 15 minutes meeting.
