17-Year-Old Angel A. Dehwaye Has Been Found After Vigorous Search

Monrovia, Liberia – A 17-year-old student of African Dream Academy, Angel A. Dehwaye, who was reported missing earlier this week, has been found safe, bringing relief to her family and community.

Angel was last seen on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, shortly after completing her West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). According to family members, she left her home in Kende’s Town, situated in the Lewis Brown Community along the Roberts International Airport (RIA) Highway, and did not return, prompting a widespread search and public appeal for assistance.

She was described as slim, dark-skinned, and last seen wearing her school uniform. A recent photo was widely circulated on social media to help with identification efforts.

Details surrounding her disappearance and return have not yet been disclosed. However, the family has confirmed that Angel has reunited with them and is in stable condition.

The African Dream Academy administration and community members expressed gratitude to all who helped share information and offered support during the search.
