LIBERIA-KOREA SIGN MOU ON AGRO-FISHERIES & FOOD TRADE

The Government of Liberia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation in Seoul, Korea to begin the process of cooperation on agro-fisheries and food trade sectors.
President Joseph N. Boakai, who witnessed the signing in Seoul at the just ended 2024 Korea-Africa Summit, said Liberia is blessed with rich resources and offers enormous investment opportunities in agriculture, forestry and other sectors.
Kim Chun-jin, the Chief Executive Officer of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, said the MOU is leading to "Low Carbon Diet Food Campaign" that will help to overcome the climate crisis.
