LNP Inspector General Col. Coleman Say Liberian Rapper J Rap Confesed To Pedophile In Recent Song, Launches Thorough Investigation

Monrovia Liberia: The Liberia National Police has begun Investigation into J Rap, a Liberian young Rapper, after reports he recorded music referencing "Morally Wrong" lyrics in his new song Tagged 'Woman Can Grow' featuring Barsee, which depicts a pedophilic meaning.

"We are aware of this content and are investigating it as a priority, "We take any content that could glorify insults or distress victims extremely"

Pedophile is a sexual perversion in which an adult or adolescent experiences a primary sexual attraction to underage children.

For the past few days, after receiving several complaints from prominant figures in the country over J rap's "Woman Can Grow" the LNP Boss said investigators will begin to follow lead to track down the young Rapper song from streaming services which recently surfaced on the social media.

Inspector General of the Liberia Nationa Police Col. Gregory Coleman in a recent radio interview explained that the record has a negative reflection on the country's culture values thus affecting the upbringing of teenagers in the Liberian Society.

The LNP Boss expressed serious concern following the growing wave of Explicit Lyrics in some past and recent circular Liberian songs.

He said this action shows total representation of what he could possibly be involve with and that's why he launched Investigation because there could also be another possibility that the song has a difference in perspective of what the artist actually communicated.

But the Police Inspector General Gregory Coleman asserted there are also many artists that are finding pleasure in religiously using offensive language in their songs.

According to the report, on April 5,  2025, J Rap uploaded the music on Audio Mack and other digital platforms with lyrics such as this one:

"Woman Can Grow oo, Just Like Tamba Popo, All The Children Them Futt, futt, I Can Play With Thirteen (13) Year Old Girls Them Like I Checking US"

Col. Coleman argued that the particular lyric detailed his allege behavior and it was information not released to the public which further validates the start results of the LNP investigation including the song title which is "Woman can Grow".

Reports from Blogs claim J Rap is 22, a hipco artist whose music often features violent themes and who conceals his real identity on the social media.

Guitar, a civil right artist and CEO of "Rich Entertainment" said that "other young promising rap artsts had only just learned of the extence of the song"

He added: " We're a bit shocked, we're just taking it in. How can someone be allowed to play this kind of music? The words are absolutely horrendous."

Several songs by multiple Liberian artists including Kpanto, Mr. Monrovia and Barsee, have been played on the Kool 91.9 WeekendXlusive Entertainment Show, clubs and even communities, although not those with the apparent reference to Pedophile.

The family of the alleged Rapper has not yet been contacted, the police say their investigation is active and ongoing.
