Without official paper, President Boakai Suspends Chief Bodyguard Over Corruption Allegations.

New details continue to emerge regarding the suspension of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai's Chief Bodyguard, Tarnue Kesselly.

According to insider sources, Kesselly has been implicated in serious corruption since President Boakai took office. It's alleged that Kesselly received funds from President Boakai to manage issues such as vendors near the presidential premises and payments to elderly women who cleaned the area opposite the president's house.

Sources claim that instead of disbursing the full amounts received, which could go up to US$1,300 per vendor depending on booth size, Kesselly allegedly provided only US$300 each to the vendors, causing discontent. This discrepancy reportedly angered the President, leading to Kesselly's indefinite suspension.

Kesselly was entrusted with significant sums to distribute among sidewalk vendors and cleaning women near the president's residence. Allegedly, he failed to distribute the funds appropriately, resulting in dissatisfaction among the beneficiaries.

During the 2023 campaign, Kesselly played a crucial role in ensuring President Boakai's security. He accompanied the President on national tours and visited Lofa County.

Despite these allegations, there has been no official documentation confirming Kesselly's suspension or dismissal from his post have been place on The official website of the Executive Mansion of the Facebook page.

President Boakai's firm stance against corruption remains a cornerstone of his administration.
