End of Career for Torjilor as LFA Expels Him as Referee for Continuous Blunder!
The Liberia Football Association has, with immediate effect, expelled Class-A referee Josephus Torjilor from all LFA-organized activities.
According to the LFA, Torjilor’s expulsion is consistent with the Referee Committee’s report from the match Nimba vs Gedeh in the ensuing National County Meet.
Torjilor was criticized by many local sports lovers for poorly officiating the crucial match on Monday, April 29, after he ruled out a possible goal from Grand Gedeh which brought referring and the game into disrepute and also caused grave damages and losses.
This is the second time Central Referee Josephus Torjilar has faced similar action from the LFA, it can be recalled that he was banned from refereeing for two seasons after admitting to receiving about US$100 from a side in a second-division match relegation play-off match between Srimex FC and Pags FC back in 2021.
