NEC Local Office Assures Free, Fair and Transparent Bi- election

Grand Gedeh: National election commission regional director and acting magistrate of grand Gedeh has assured Liberians of a peaceful and transparent election,with just a day to conduct of the by-election in Nimba and Grand Gedeh counties.

Mr. Alfred Togba unearthed the good engagements of NEC with the candidates," even though the time of the election is short and the candidates are many,but they are very corporative, especially with their campaign and lunching process".

He applauded citizens of the two counties for being very peaceful in conducting the procees.

Mr. Togba told the media that the election will officially start by 8 am tomorrow and ends at 6 pm,

He praised the local security for doing their best in securing the peace is maintained .

However Mr. Togba disclosed the total of 20,407 voters to vote on the upcoming By-election only,if you did not register in district #1 tchien district you will not vote and this law has been tricker down to NEC workers and security , only those registered and found in the FFR will be a part of the process.
