LDEA-Sinoe Conducts Vigorous Crackdown on Notorious Ghettos in Greenville City

The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Sinoe County detachment has embarked on a rigorous exercise targeting notorious drug ghettos in Greenville City, Sinoe County.
The increasing intake of narcotics has become a significant threat, endangering and damaging the lives of future leaders in Sinoe, Liberia, and beyond.
On July 18, 2024, the LDEA Sinoe County detachment conducted a comprehensive search of various drug ghettos in Greenville City.
The operation, led by the county OPS, affected three communities: Teah Town (ghettos), Farmersville (some suspected houses), and New Kru Town (Saga block and suspected houses).
The operation was successful, resulting in the apprehension of three suspects and the seizure of a substantial quantity of high-quality narcotics, including "spark and die and, and Marijuana among others.
According to Special Agent Milton Klo Howard, commander of the LDEA, the objective of this operation is to apprehend drug dealers and consumers.
He assured the public that such operations will continue frequently to ensure that those involved in drug trafficking and consumption are prosecuted under the laws of the Republic of Liberia.
This effort aims to deter and minimize the widespread use of harmful drug substances in society.
