Spain Becomes Euro All-time Top Winners

The La Roja commonly called the Red Fury in Spain has set a new record with her latest Euro 2024 championship win against England on Sunday.

Spain collected a hard-earned 2-1 win against England in the 2024 Euro Grand Final to break the tie with Germany on three and become the all-time top European Championship winners with four titles.

Atletico Bilbao superstar Nico Williams put Spain in the lead with a beautiful strike a few minutes after the first-half break but Cole Palmer responded with a low-ground shot in the 73rd minute to later tie the score for England in the Grand Final.

Things became leveled for the two sides up to the 85th minute before Mikel Oyarzabal set in the winner for Spain from a crossed pass by Marc Cucurella to defeat the Three Lions and give Spain her fourth Euro.

With the latest championship, Spain has lifted the Euro on four different occasions, in 1964, 2008, 2012, and 2024 and now top the chart of Euro's all-time highest carriers.

The Euro 2024 came to an end with a lot of beautiful moments with the Red Fury of Spain on Sunday (July 14) after a fruitful journey in Germany that climaxed at the Olympiastadion Stadium.
