He has garnered attention for fearlessly criticizing former President George Weah's governance, advocating for a positive trajectory for the nation. His persistent call for a better Liberia remains unwavering.

However, amidst these calls, his presidential ambitions for 2029 have surfaced, intensifying his scrutiny of the current administration led by President Joseph Boakai. In less than six months, Representative Kolubah has escalated his criticisms of the government, despite having campaigned for it initially."

Over the weekend Representative Yekeh Kolubah accuse President Boakai of bribing each representative with a US$4,500 coupon to remove House Speaker Koffa from the position

The Montserrado County Electoral District #10 lawmaker made the disclosure over the weekend at his office to a team of reporters, where he displayed the coupon bearing J Mart before a live camera as evidence.

He described the alleged plot of the Liberian Chief Executive against the opposition Speaker, a ranking member of the Coalition for Democratic Change as total wickedness and broad day bribery.

According to Representative Kolubah, he received a telephone call from the defeated candidate for the speakership position of the ruling Unity Party and Representative of Montserrado County Electoral District #11, Richard Nagbe Koon to collect his coupon while the other members of the Koon’s Bloc got theirs.

The controversial lawmaker indicated that Representative Koon directed him to Representative Prince Toles of Montserrado County Electoral District #8, adding that the coupon was signed for by his Filing Clerk from Representative Toles.

He questioned the wisdom of the President to get himself with the removal of the Speaker of the 55th National Legislature especially when the elections are over the Liberians are yearning for development, despite his usual cry that the country does not have money.

When contacted Representative Richard Nagbe Koon via text messages through WhatsApp and offline, he could not respond as his phone remained off, while the offices of Representative Toles and the Minister of State are yet to confirm or deny the claims of Representative.
